Integrating IdeaJam with Lotus Connections

We just published a document which reviews the integration points that IdeaJam has with Lotus Connections. Lotus Connections can surface IdeaJam ideas using the IdeaJam Lotus Connections iWidget, a vast array of RSS feeds and via the Lotus Connections Business Card. These same features are also available for Microsoft Sharepoint.

I think you could extend this a bit further without too much effort with the Connections API. I would like to see that when someone creates an Idea it creates a status update for them in Connections. This would help to drag people within your network into Ideas as they would see them on their Updates.

It's on the roadmap and you should be hearing more about IdeaJam 1.8 and 1.9 very soon.
